About Steve Finney
I have always had an interest in computers, programming and the internet. Whilst living in Canada in 2000/2001 I had the opportunity to enrol on an intensive Web Development Diploma course which was a 2 year course condensed into 1. I graduated in July 2001 with Honours (averaging 97% throughout the course).
I have been working as a Developer continuously since my return to the UK, putting the skills learnt during my Diploma to good use and taking every opportunity to learn more. I have worked on several commercial sites ranging from bluearrow.co.uk to tesco.com. I have also worked extensively on intranets. Examples of my work can be seen on the portfolio page of this site.
As well as my keen interest in the internet and web technologies I also find the time to play 6-a-side football, go to the gym and spend time with my family.
